If a picture is worth 1000 words, then six pictures must be worth 6000 words. Don’t worry, I’m not going to use that many words to describe these beautiful late fall photos that Joy Ziemnick captured recently. But I will say WOW! I think this is one of the longest fall seasons I can ever remember. The colors have been outstanding and it seems like they are hanging on for more days than usual, although they are really winding down now. Of course it also depends on where you’re viewing the colors, too. If you’re closer to the Big Lake, like Joy is, the colors are still out there, but further inland the trees are getting pretty bare and the rain and winds the past few days, I’m sure have helped to shake more leaves off the branches. Thankfully, here on the Pasty Cam, we can make them last a little longer, too.
We’re heading to the Alberta area with In The Keweenaw for a look back at peak color from the air. This deserves a WOW, too. Enjoy!
