Always something interesting happening around Nancy Haun’s neck of the woods. Today she shares an awesome capture of an Eagle’s nest near the Ravine River that she’s been keeping an eye on, hoping to see the eaglets when they peek up over the top of the nest and there one was recently. Mom flew up off the nest and the baby was revealed. Quite the sight to see Mother Nature at it’s best, an Eagle raising her young and teaching them the ways of nature and survival.
I couldn’t pass up adding the rainbow Nancy captured right off the Skanee Road recently either. Another look at how Mother Nature rewards us for having to go through rainstorms...we get the rainbow coloring the sky like it’s saying...wasn’t it worth all the weather fuss? A rainbow on the Haunderosa!
Nancy also recorded a short video of Mom feeding the little ones in the nest. She said it’s a bit shaky, as she was twisted in her car seat recording and couldn’t adjust for fear she’d miss the opportunity. I think she did just fine!

Eagles are just so great to watch. I think
it was 3 years ago that the nest we always
watched while fishing had a family of 3
Eaglets. Very cool.
