What a great comparison collage of the Tahquamenon Falls today, from Frances Czapski. Frances explains the photo here:
“To capture the seasonal changes and month to month variations in the color and intensity of flow, I've been visiting Upper Tahquamenon Falls on the third of every month this year. Please enjoy my first set of comparisons - three months of winter and the first month of spring. In January, February and March, the temperature was in the single digits, but this April day it was 37 degrees - a welcome warm up! After a few frozen months, it was nice to see the waterfall free of ice and flowing at a good clip.”
Now that’s dedication to capturing the look each month. Frances says to check back for further updates and photos throughout the year...I’ll be sure to do that and update the Pasty Cam when available.
Our second photo comes to us from 906 Images. The story behind this shot is that just as he was ready to snap it, snow fell from the trees above, creating this cool scene!
Frances Czapski also captured this video of the Tahquamenon Falls on the third of April. Nice to see and hear the falls flowing so swiftly again, after a frozen winter season. Spring is arriving! Check out more of Frances’ photography here: Photography by Frances

Definitely some beautiful waterfalls. I never tire of them. And there's not a bad video out there of these falls.

Loved going there on our last visit in 2013. Also enjoyed the nice lunch and beers at the brewery.

Greetings to all:
Interesting that the dark brown streaks in the falls are in the same location in April as they were in January.
Where's the root beer factory that sprung a leak eh? lol
Seriously...these are just stunning.
