Marcy Bessolo Hermanson has a set of frosty window art photos for us here today, along with a fun window frame around them, too. When Jack Frost gets busy in the frigid cold, designing icy art like this, it is quite fascinating for sure. It’s like someone takes a brush and paints these designs, unique and different every time the frost appears. A comment on Marcy’s photos hit the nail on the head with the following: “I’m always amazed by the intricate details of window frost! It’s the only beautiful thing to come from bitter cold temperatures.” I must agree, it’s our reward for shivering through those cold, cold days.
Michigan’s Keweenaw Peninsula shares a Lake Superior Ice Monster video, asking, “Has something breached from the icy depths of Lake Superior? Or have we spent a little too much time out in the wild winter winds?” I think it might be a little of both or a severe case of cabin fever!

Great video. That was very interesting. And icy window art is the best. There's never any of that in our house. So I'm super excited when somebody shares theirs. Thanks, Marcy.

That is just beautiful.....HEY MARCY...try hitting it with a little bit of food coloring (just a drip) to see what happens....I wonder if it'd crawl along the ice itself....that may be something stunning! Then again...it may just make a mess. But it'd be worth it!

A man should be able to climb a mountain, and maybe get himself killed with out having to apply for a permit
