Leave it to Brita Haapala to capture the beauty of a winter evening UP North. She snapped these photos near Mohawk and commented: “these pictures would be terribly boring in the summer, but I couldn’t stop gazing at the sky this evening.” She’s absolutely right and I kept going back to look at these shots a number of times, myself. The blue sky, those wispy clouds and the sun just beginning to set make all three of these photos pop for me. The perfect winter evening in the Copper Country.
