A bitter sweet day, as our drone did not return to us after a flight at Bete Grise. In its last moments, it was able to send us some pictures and video that we saved on Walter's cell phone. The resolution isn't as high as normal but still beautiful. I may have to collect pop cans and deliver newspapers to save up for a new drone. We have a couple theories of why it crashed, but it just kept flying further and further out to sea, until the battery died.

Watch the final video received from our drone, just before it sunk into the depths of Lake Superior. We had flown out into the bay of Bete Grise to film footage of three freighters that were taking refuge there, however the drone was unable to return to the shore and ultimately ran out of battery life. The video ends with the drone slowly descending into the Lake. We were able to recover the video over the cloud.

Come on Santa...either that, or my cans go to you!

Omgosh! That was so great to watch. I
mean, it was sad for the Dennis family, but
so cool to watch it drift into nothingness.

video, but waiting for the demise of the drone was
kinda spooky, It looked like it might have gone
under out between Keystone Bay and Manitou Island??
