Nancy Haun is at it again, snapping trains in the L’Anse area for us all to enjoy. She’s like the mail that must go through... Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds. Nancy is there no matter the weather to photograph the trains, nor does it matter how long she has to wait, she’s there to get it done.
Today she shares MP-216 on the L’Anse Hill, then almost to US-41 in Herman. The red engine car against the snowy background really makes for a beautiful shot. Her bottom photo is the CN rounding the long, sweeping curve toward Summit-once a very important stop on the way to Nestoria.
Then Nancy shares a video she made of the Climb on the L’Anse hill. Her commentary is always so informative and enjoyable.

These pictures are terrific and the video is
amazing too. Unlike Nancy, though, I'm not
getting up at 4 on a cold morning. But I
sure am glad she's willing to. And I loved
listening to her commentary. Thanks,
Nancy. I enjoyed every minute of it.

Always enjoy Nancy's train pictures but the snow really makes them spectacular. Thank you!
