If it’s trains you like, then go no further. Thanks to Nancy Haun we get to join her watching the CN pass by Goose Lake, with a great reflection of both the train and some of the colors there. Then Nancy takes us to the Peshekee River with the CN crossing the railroad bridge over the waterway. A little bit of a reflection there, too, but mostly just the red of the train showing up on the surface of the water below the crossing. I don’t know what it is, but there’s something fascinating about trains for me. It might be partly because we don’t see them anymore UP North here in the Keweenaw, so that makes it more of a unique sighting when we see them elsewhere.
We’re joining Alexis Dahl for a look at Marquette Mountain as she hikes UP, along with some information about it, too. She says it’s a part geology, part personal story time kind of video. Maybe like a “walk and talk”. Enjoy!

Beautiful pics & video!! Thanks for the tour UP ol
Sugarloaf. Spent a lot of time up on Sugarloaf
studying and having good times. When I was at NMU
the stairs and decking were not on there. The views
from the top are fantastic, a full 360 degrees,
thanks for the memories!!

What gorgeous pictures. And yes, Mary,
especially that first one. I love when the
waters are so still that you get the
mirrored view. Breathtaking. I enjoyed
the video also.
