Donna MacIntosh and her friend Cindy, were out and about exploring recently. She said it was glorious to have an outing after being cooped up so long. They made a stop at the L’Anse Waterfront Park, with the flags billowing in the wind and check out those clouds in the first two shots. So big and fluffy, they remind me of cotton candy, except they’re white!
Next stop was the Bishop Baraga Shrine which Donna said she thoroughly enjoyed and she’d still be there if Cindy hadn’t pulled her and her walker back to the car. She just didn’t want to leave the beauty there.
Her fourth photo is looking out over Keweenaw Bay/Lake Superior from the Baraga side, on US41. More clouds, only in this shot, they seem to be all over the L’Anse side of the Bay. So fetching with the blue sky and clouds.
Last but not least, Donna captured this assortment of Creeping Phlox at the Hancock Lakeside Cemetery. This ground cover of flowers is always a treat to see and for some reason seems to grace the cemeteries this time of year. My only wish is that it could last much longer to decorate the grounds.
Speaking of flowers, Steve Brimm over at Steve Brimm Photography found some Harebell flowers on the shores of Lake Superior and gives us 20 seconds to enjoy the peace and quiet surrounding them.
