We have a trio of photographers today, with a report on the Swan family over on the Swedetown Ponds. First a beautiful shot from Marlene Beaudoin, of the family with the moon that evening, rising big and round. It’s great to see that Mom and Dad have been keeping those babies safe so far.
The second photo was snapped by Dottie Abe. Looks like one of the swans is scouting out some lunch from the bottom of the pond, for those five growing cygnets.
Liz Siivola took the bottom photo, giving us a little closer look at those fluffy little ones. They look healthy and well care for. Let’s hope that continues and they stay safe from predators. Such beautiful creatures!
I’m not sure where today’s video was made, but it looks like the Swedetown family, even though it isn’t. Five Cygnets and doting parents perhaps teaching their young how to find food from the bottom of the pond.

Been watching the Sherman Field turf replacement on
the Mich. Tech web cam. Not a do it yourself
project.
