Looking at these Sunset over Superior photos from George C. Bailey reminds me of the song from Disney’s animated classic, Pinocchio... When you wish upon a star, makes no difference who you are. Anything your heart desires will come to you.

There is something quite magical about the sun setting to begin with, but having it do so over Lake Superior just makes it that much more special. Then as the sky darkens and the stars begin to appear, the allure grabs you and you’re caught in the beauty of the moment. It’s hard to beat an evening on the shores of the Big Lake.

It’s time for the Five Aces Media June video. On their YouTube page, the lead-in for this month goes like this - “The buzz of summer is in the air. Everything becomes active and the bugs begin to take over.” Yep, that sums it up just about right. The bugs are taking over right now UP here.

Each picture just gets better than the last! Amazing! You don't see the stars like that in urban areas. And the June vid is another winner - great work!

Sounds like your plan is coming together UC! Where are you headed first? Do you have a camper or enjoying some tent camping? Makes me remember everything you were going thru at this time last year and how we were praying you'd get to this point!

We just purchased a new 5th wheel, so we'll be
camping our way U.P. and back down state. We'll be
in the Keweenaw from 7/12-8/25, I think.... lol
unless Aunt Vicki tells me differently. "It's her
world, I'm just trying to live in it!" :=))

Looking forward to seeing Mary and giving her a big
hug while we're U.P. there too!!
