Those that love Lake Superior already know this, but for those that have never visited the shores of the Big Lake, there’s nothing quite like sitting there, watching the sun go down. Add in the excitement of young people skipping stones, along with the chatter that goes with them, it’s darn near perfect. Brita Haapala, the lady behind the camera at Brita Caroline Photography, knows about Lake Superior’s magic and recently took a few of her littles there to watch the sunset and kids being kids, they can’t just sit still so she had some wonderful opportunities to snap photos. In case you’re wondering about the kids in winter jackets, it was only 40° that evening, but we’ve had warmer days lately.
The folks over at Smart Creative share a video showing more of the magic on the Keweenaw Peninsula. They also commented that the magic isn’t just the scene, but also capturing natural sounds to fit the visuals, so the viewer gets immersed into a scene on a different level. They use native soundscapes for an unforgettable feeling and suggest that the next time you watch a video that captures your attention, think about how the music and sound effects make you feel.

Beautiful pics, fortunate family!! Fantastic video,
the sounds..... well that just makes me want to
live in the Keweenaw or Marquette/Munising area
even more!
Plans are to be moving around to different
campgrounds from Mid July to Mid August... who
knows... maybe longer!! Aunt Vic and I no longer
have Jobs to return to, retired and really enjoying
it. Praying no unforeseen medical issues arise!
