We’ve enjoyed a number of adventures with Jeff Dennis and his family here on the Pasty Cam, but they’ve upped their game and now have a drone. Jeff tells me that Walter is the operator of the drone so far, but I’m sure Jeff will get his hands on it sometime soon, too. They take us for a tour above the Jacobsville Lighthouse and the Portage Lower Entry Lighthouse. For some reason the break wall looks much longer from the air. Then we get a look-see at the Portage River Harbor of Refuge on the opposite side of the “river”. That Harbor is accessed from the Chassell side on North Entry Road.

The video is around seven minutes, so make sure you have more than a couple of minutes to watch and know that it’s well worth the time. Just a reminder that Walter is controlling the drone and you’d never know that it’s a new adventure for him. He’s pretty steady and does a great job!

Walter flies that thing like a pro. I have one and all I can do so far is
crash it. Maybe some day I will learn but I am not holding my breath.

climb up and jump off the Lower Entry Lighthouse
into the water.
