Brita Haapala, the talent behind Brita Caroline Photography, snapped a series of three photos from the same spot, looking out toward their pond last week when we had a quick snow event. They show perfectly how quickly our weather here in the Copper Country changes from hour to hour this time of year. Brita said these shots were taken about five hours apart and by evening her boys were back to hitting the baseball once again. Pretty much supports the old saying, that if you don’t like the weather here, wait five minutes, it’ll change.
Seems like we’ve been getting plenty of windy days around these parts lately, too. 906 Images photographer was out with his drone, just far enough to get some footage of the waves rolling in at Marquette in gusty winds over 30 mph. It doesn’t take much to stir up the Big Lake, but once she is, she keeps rocking and rolling.

That's a perfect 'picture' of life in the UP isn't it?
Seeing the exact same scene over hours, days or months has always been a favorite of mine. Or historic/now pictures that show amazing changes.
And you can't beat Lady Superior in one of her many moods!
