There are a number of different signs that Spring has arrived, like the robins returning, the crocuses poking through the ground, the sound of geese & sandhill cranes in the air, but here in the Copper Country, we have a unique sign that happens every year on M26, between Dollar Bay and Tamarack City...the numerous small waterfalls along the highway as the snow melts in the hills above. Beth Anderson captured one of them recently, as the water was cascading down the sandstone ledge, creating some icy coatings, despite the sunshine. I’m not sure why, but those little waterfalls always bring a smile to my face when driving by. I’m glad Beth stopped to take some pictures, since I’m betting lots of folks don’t even know they exist this time of year.
Thanks to Steve Brimm over at Steve Brimm Photography, we get to enjoy a peaceful sunset today.

The change of the seasons are the most exciting times of the year. Thanks Beth & Steve for bringing that to us!
