Condolences to all.

I was shocked and saddened to hear about the passing of Captain Don Kilpela of the Isle Royale Queen II, III and IV. He was one year ahead of me at our high school alma mater in Livonia, MI. Captain Ben was a year behind me.

Remembering our parents Norman and Helen Pooley, Ed and Sophie Kuusisto, Aunt Lyle Pooley, our sister in law and dear friend Phyllis Kuusisto, Karen Kuusisto, Janet Trasti, Selma Kuusisto, Auntie Eva Lahti, our cousin Eva Kuusisto, our good buddy Nitz Kumpula, our nephews “The Chief” Churchill and Charlie Churchill, our sweet niece Rosie Churchill, Our niece Bailey Hartmann, our brother in law and friend Wayne Hartmann our sister and best friend Flo Hartmann and our dear sweet baby girls Annie and Molly Kuusisto. We love and miss you all so much.
