It’s looking more and more like fall each and every day here UP North. Marcy Bessolo Hermanson shares some shots she took with a flair for Autumn. There’s something about the first photo with that lone leaf among the rocks that just catches my eye each time I view it. Maybe the stark contrast of the color of the rocks and the bright yellow of the leaf.
Then Marcy found some colors popping, several oak leaves and acorns still hanging on to both the tree and they’re green color. They are usually some of the last to turn color and often hold on to the tree into the winter months, once they turn that “rusty” brown.
The last photo is a roadside flower we have near our home, too. I’m not sure what it’s called, but it sure is pretty and must be hardy, because I noticed that the frost we had, didn’t kill it.
Finally, we head to the Queen City, with Travel Marquette Michigan for a look at the colors in and around Marquette County.

Nice-nice-nice! You'd never know it was Autumn here in SE-MI...temps near 80* for the next several days then the change begins. :-(
