Brita Haapala of Brita Caroline Photography, said that she didn’t picture a gravel driveway and telephone pole for the backdrop of her Doe and Fawn photos, but that she will take what she can get. And not just any photos of the fawn walking behind Mom either, no, Brita captures feeding time for that beautiful spotted baby!
Then a few days later, Mom and the little spotted wonder showed up again and were getting a little braver, so Brita was able to make a quick video of them. I love how the fawn is a typical youngster, jumping around, instead of calmly walking along with Mom

Reminds me of "Bambi" with his mother telling him not to rush out into the meadow!

Hi How brazen--she's breast-feeding on a public street. ;>) Seriously, the fawn is very cute.

That pair would make a great lawn ornament, if you don't mind the potshots.

This is so beautiful, but what's very sad is that these beautiful innocent creatures, just living their life in their own world will be the object of some hunters crosshairs.

I'm posting again since my first post was deleted regarding "hunting". Hey Mary, please repost what I said. which was: These creatures are so beautiful and innocent living in their own environment, only to be the object of some hunter's crosshairs to kill. Go to Pat's and let these creatures live. Does the latest plague wake any of you up????

I'm with Greta. I hate the thought of hunters out there looking to bring one home on top of their car. But my husband always says there is a reason for it. (He doesn't hunt.) I only want to see them in scenes like this, and not riding on top of a car.
