Today’s Pasty Cam contributor is sharing her photos for the first time and I’m hoping not the last. When asked if it was OK to share her photos, Kathy Erkkila Ptaszek agreed right away and said she loves the Keweenaw, so much beauty! I love the color she captured along Lake Superior’s shoreline in Lac La Belle, adding so much to this drab, kind of gray time of year. Those Mountain Ash Berries really stand out against the snow and Big Lake waters.
Kathy also stopped at Brunette Park in her travels and made a video there, paying her respects to the pine tree that came down in a storm last month. It stood there on the beach for many years, so the regular visitors to this little roadside park are saddened by its demise. She also said that the beach is completely washed away right now and road inside the park is gone on one end. Truly sad.
P.S. The holiday pasty shipping schedule is filling up fast! If you’re looking for a unique Christmas gift for someone on your list, a Pasty Cam Calendar and some pasties would be a great choice. Click here to order: 2020 Pasty Cam Calendar and Pasties.

Even in nature's demise, there is beauty.

Unfortunate, Brunette Park is a fantastic roadside park, we have spent a lot of time there.

Brunette Park? Isn't there a Blond Park? Or, given my current hair color, a Gray Park? 😉

Oh how sad. I love that little park. It just goes to show the fury of Mother Superior. There is never any stopping her.
