Today’s photos from Keweenaw Bay, were snapped by Nancy Haun. The first photo of the swans was taken on Saturday. The second shot of almost the same scene, was snapped five days earlier and show the snow covering the Red Rocks on the curve, with the Bishop Baraga Shrine more visible in the trees. Nancy’s last photo is a dandy, commenting that she loves the big sky at the Shrine. The snow on the ground and the white clouds spread across the sky, sure make a dramatic scene surrounding the Bishop.
Not only did Nancy get a photo of the swans last Saturday, but she captured them on video with their unique way of entering the chilly waters of Keweenaw Bay.
