Judy Byykkonen joined a group of seven ladies at 8:30 Sunday morning for a kayaking adventure at the Sturgeon River Slough. You can see in her first shot, that the sun wasn’t very high in the sky yet and was peeking out of the clouds. The ladies saw many sights in the slough, enjoying beautiful scenery along the river, including some early changing leaves reflecting in the water around them. Judy’s second photo gives you a good idea of the peace and quiet they experienced there, too.
One of the other ladies in the group, Beth Jukuri made a short video of the ladies making their way around some fallen trees. Short videos are the most you can do when kayaking, since your hands are busy paddling most of the time. Longer videos would require a Go Pro attached to you or your vessel. Enjoy!
