When Beth Jukuri heads out on an adventure, she often has her granddaughter right there alongside her. This weekend’s adventure was kayaking and this time, Beth’s daughter was along, too, so her daughter hooked the little kayaker up behind her kayak, tethered together for safety. Beth said when they first started out, her granddaughter admitted to being a little nervous because it was her first time out on the Big Lake, but it didn’t take long and she was just one of them, paddling along. By the time they were heading back in, though, she had tired out some and was doing more sipping of her water and singing, than paddling. What a fun experience and a great way to instill a love of the outdoors for her. Memories in the making for sure.
In case you’ve been thinking about trying out a kayak, today’s video from Paddle TV, will give you some tips on how to get in and out of a Kayak smoothly from a number of different starting points.

Nice pix, I don't think I'm the Kayaking type, no way I could get in and out without going in the drink!! lol
