Montreal Falls is located right at the mouth of the Montreal River, where it flows into Lake Superior. Melanie Hakala Rossi takes us with her on a trek in. From where you park, it’s about a mile, but if you’re up to it, well worth the hike in. The sound of the falls rushing over the rocks is soothing in itself, nature’s “white noise”. The views of Lake Superior along the trail in are a bonus, too. For directions to get there, click here: Montreal Falls directions.
