Bob Gilreath decided to take a ride to Copper Harbor a couple weeks ago...but not just any ride, he and his wife Liz hopped aboard his friend’s plane and away they went. Bob snapped a couple photos of the Harbor Haus and surrounding Copper Harbor area during their flight. Nice to see all the open water once again.
If you’re wondering what the six rectangles underwater in front of the dock in the first photo are, I think they’re old dock cribs, at least that’s what they looked like when we’ve kayaked over them. Does anyone know for sure what they are?
Bob also took a short video of part of their flight. This looks like he’s at the tip of the Keweenaw area. Everything is looking pretty gray there, because the trees hadn’t started budding out yet. Enjoy the flight!
