Nancy Haun is the Admin for the Bishop Baraga Shrine Facebook page and she recently posted today’s two photos that were taken a week apart. You can see how much the snow has receded around the Bishop in that span of days. Before you know it, Keweenaw Bay will be open and the trees will be sprouting buds.

Nancy also has a video posted with the following description: “Joseph Wallace from the Oklahoma Choctaw/Cherokee Tribe originally-now living in Sault St. Marie and follows the traditional Anishinaabe way -speaks of FR. Baraga being a Warrior and dedicates this song to him. At the Cathedral in Marquette celebrating the Life and death of Venerable Frederick Baraga. Thank you Joseph and drummers and singers.” A beautiful tribute to a Holy man.

Very inspirational speech about Bishop Baraga being a warrior. Thanks Mary!

Hey UC, about that decision you have to make by the end of the month. Remember no one has all the information when you have to make a big decision like that. Weigh everything you can, maybe say a prayer or two for guidance, and then take your best shot. Don't look back and second guess yourself after you do..... go forward and do your best in your new (or not new) normal.

Thanks jbuck, Headed back to work May 1st, will continue to look for that "Retirement Job" as well and I wouldn't mind coming in off the road.

The leg is getting stronger and the ulcer on the bottom of my foot has healed, will see how that continues to improve. Planning to work at least a couple more years.

6 months in the Yoop and 6 months somewhere in the South or SW, sounds pretty good, I'm not gonna lie!! lol

Have a great weekend Pasty Friends!!
