Fritz the wonderdog doesn’t let the grass grow under his feet, partly because right now the grass is under at least a foot of snow, but also because he likes to keep his humans, Jeff & Chris Dennis busy with adventures. Just before the snow came last week, he had them exploring the Houghton Waterfront to check out the decorations there for the coming Christmas season and afterwards, he took them window shopping in downtown Houghton. Fritz was quite interested in the Santa with the leopard print jacket in one of the store windows.

The following day, Thanksgiving Eve, found Fritz and family kayaking on Torch Lake in Lake Linden. I thought Fritz was looking a bit chilled, but Jeff said that was the look he gave him when he told Fritz that bird swimming in front of them was a Canadian turkey. You can’t fool Fritz!

The bottom photo was out at the Dennis’ camp on Thanksgiving Day. Lake Superior was looking quite calm and the fresh fallen snow really brightened up the beachfront and made the visiting deer stand out. Such a beautiful scene!

Caribbean to drink rum, once his grueling Christmas
work is done for the year.

thoughtful enough to bring his

Fyi- Headed back to the hospital momentarily, the
foot is not doing well, and I'll probably be
admitted for additional IV Antibiotics and
possible surgery. Just got back from my
Podiatrist. I'll keep you posted.

called HAG stones...and supposed to hold
protection.

When Charley went to Scotland, he sent a pic of a
piece of history there. The gent's name was
Coinneach Odhar, a 17th century "Seer", who could
look through a hagstone and predict the
future...there's a lot more. Pretty awesome stuff!

Cool set! Fritz has good taste in clothing.
