When it comes to trains, Nancy Haun is always where they’ll be coming through, because she has connections and finds out their schedules. She was recently down near Michigamme, by the Spurr River and captured the Canadian National as it was coming by...great shots with the reds in the trees and the red of the engine. Her third photo is on the tracks, northbound from Baraga – destination the Copper Country, is how she described it. If only it still went that far, those were the good old days!

Then Nancy’s bottom photo was snapped in the Huron Mountains as they were coming down the pathway to the beaver pond. The Autumn reflections are absolutely stunning!

We wrap up this fall excursion with a video Nancy recorded while she was waiting for the Canadian National to come by the Spurr River in the beginning of October when the colors were really popping.

These are so very good. I just
love the 3rd one with the train
tracks. I love pictures like
that, whether it be roads, trails,
tracks, whatever. But they're all
so good. My second fave is with
the train. But all gorgeous! The
video was good, too.

I love the "Huron Mountain Reflections" photo. I
liked the video, too. I prefer videos with just
the ambient noises over the ones with music.

Alex, I don't know about Michigan but do you know
about the snow train that leaves from Sault Ste
Marie Ontario? They have--or had--a fall color
version. Some time I need to check that out.

I'm grateful for the Pasty Cam. It used to be a 60
second vacation when I was working, now it's a
special place to touch base with beautiful
pictures & long-time pasty-cammers.

Excellent pics & video, so beautiful and I'm
missing being U.P. there so much!! Hopefully, we
get a chance to get U.P. for a low key trip that
won't involve too much walking on my part, rather
more riding and observing the beautiful scenery.

Jbuck/all, doing better the foot is healing
slowly. New skin on the outer portion of my foot
ulcer but the center is still open and quite deep.
I hope you're not eating while reading this. Jbuck
asked, so I'm updating. lol Was told by my
podiatrist to stay off it totally for a week, but
it's very hard to do 100%.

Thanks for asking Julie, I've ordered more
pasties because they're so easy to put in the
oven, while I'm off my foot or especially when my
better half is out running errands etc.. Would
like to get U.P. the week of 11/10 or 11/17 but
can't make any firm plans, they just seem to blow
up when I do.

UC…I feel for ya Bud, I know how much you
wanted to do some sweet RV trips this
year. But hey…at least we have Pasty Central
to help fill in the gap.
And speaking of…Happy Anniversary!

UC...have you tried Raw Honey on that thing? I got
a bedsore or two, and that heals them up!! It's
excellent stuff....The medical staff that would
come here occasionally, wouldn't talk about it when
fixing me up, then I'd talk about it, and they ALL
used it at home for themselves!!

Give it a shot...but it HAS to be RAW...very
medicinal...

haven't used it in quite a while, I will Sunday
