Kathy Erkkila Ptaszek recently took a Keweenaw cruise, checking out the open water at Ten Foot Falls on M-26 heading into Eagle River. From there she took in the view of the ice breaking UP on Lake Superior, stopped for a look at Great Sand Bay and the steps there, with a final photo stop at the Silver River Falls. They continued on to Copper Harbor and had lunch at the Mariner North. Kathy commented that it looks like spring and someone else mentioned that it’s bad news for the economy, which is why Kathy stopped for lunch in Copper Harbor, to support our local busninesses. We all have to step it UP and get out there to frequent all the local businesses who are hurting due to the lack of snow this winter. Thanks for the reminder, Kathy!
Now we join Jeff Dennis and Fritz on the south shore of Freda, for a beach walk on the shores of Lake Superior. I love the crunch of the ice and snow underfoot!

Right on Mary...Help the locals...
What a cool vid...I don't think there are too many places left in the Copper Country that Fritz hasn't visited...he's got a great Mom and Dad!

Nice set and video! But, Fritz looks naked without a kayak. And Ten Foot Falls = 5 pairs of slippers. You do the math. And Ice Break-UP…who gets the kids? Okay, I’m done now.
