Stacey Flood gives us a plethora of color in the first three photos here today. She calls her Bantam Roosters, “the twins” and until she mentioned that, I thought these pictures were all of the same rooster. Stacey said the photos on the fence are of one rooster and the one on the ground is a different rooster. So, twins it is and such beautiful coloring in them. Match that up with the Keweenaw Autumn leaves in the background and WOW... spectacular shots.

The bottom photo is shared by Tom Lindley, he says that it’s the “girls” and one “boy”, hanging out for the night. The “boy” is on the bottom roost right in the middle. I wonder if he’s henpecked?

We leave the flock and the colors of the Keweenaw and head to Mackinac Island with MI Playground for a Mackinac Island Fall Photography Adventure.

It looks like most of the girls are camera shy. All I see is butts.

How wonderful! And FRESH, real eggs....I'm jealous.

The inside of that coop is very colorful.
Now I'm wondering what it smells like inside.

I haven't been to Mackinac Island since I was a small child. I don't have many memories so I need to return. Plus, "Somewhere In Time" is on my top ten movie list.
