Donna MacIntosh lives across the canal from the Quincy Mine Shaft and enjoys this view from the treadmill downstairs. She snapped the first two shots a day apart...pretty neat to see how the different lighting affects the colors. Donna was over on the Quincy Hill side a week ago here on the Pasty Cam... October 7th, with a few fall photos from Kowsit Lats. She said Kowsit Lats is to the left of the Quincy Mine Shaft in these two photos here today.

The remaining photos were taken by Debbie Jarve, with her first two in the general area that Donna was snapping hers. Then a neat shot of the old mining buildings in Ripley with a bit of fog hanging over them. And lastly, an outstanding shot of the Portage Lake Lift Bridge... my first thought was, in the still of the night, but Debbie took it on her way to work at 4:45 a.m., so I guess it’s in the still of the early morning.

Now we join Felicia Fullwood for a Fall Road Trip in the U.P., when she spent a week chasing fall color in the Keweenaw Peninsula & Western UP! Buckle UP and sit back, this one is 13 minutes of Autumn color.

Enjoyed the beautiful color on the road trip. I
haven't been to the Porcupine Mts since I was a kid.
And I don't believe I have ever been to Ironwood.

Have been a little slow on checking things out, so first of all, thanks to Nancy for the beautiful set from yesterday!

And the same to Donna for today! The blue sky in the 3rd one really adds to the beautiful contrast with the fall colors. Wish i was chasing the fall colors!
