Deb Simons and her hubby, Ron have been busy exploring, looking for the color and beautiful views around the Keweenaw. On this adventure they had friends that took them along and guided them to the locations. Deb described it quite well, so I’m just going to go with what she had to say about this adventure:

“We were treated to a trip up the Cliffs between US 41 and The Lake. What a view we had when we got up there. It was absolutely spectacular. We saw the Cliff View and some homes. What a rush!
Then they took us to Copper Falls Peak. Again, what a view!! We were even treated to freighters Paul R. Tregurtha and the Mesabi Miner, passing each other out on Lake Superior.

What a wonderful day they had and it sure looks like they found some color UP that way, too.

Now we’re going to join MI Playground for a fall adventure in Sault Ste. Marie and surrounding area. They show us how to have a full packed, fall adventure, starting at Rotary Park and then they head to Mission Hill, Monocle Lake, Point Iroquois Lighthouse, Big Pines, Whitefish Point and Tahquamenon Falls.

I've tried a couple of times to find my way to the top of the Cliffs. Any advice?

Be careful if you get an email from someone with just initials, saying he got your email address from Pasty, says he's 26 and adores older women and if you're single to contact him. I know of another person who received the same email as I did. I didn't respond, just blocked the email address. Could be looking to scam someone out of money. :-(

Thanks, everybody. It was a great day. It
was so beautiful up there. Alex, my knee did
fine. Believe it or not, hiking isn't as
hard on my knee as walking is. D.A., you
drive as far up as you can and then you get
out and hike. I haven't been there enough to
give you much more than that. I do know
where to go to get up there now though. Some
day we'll drive the side by side up there
and be able to go further. We'll see. I just
know it was beautiful up there.
