On a peaceful evening, Jeff Dennis and family did some exploring at the Keweenaw Waterway Lower Entrance near Chassell, where the buoys that mark the channel are stored for the winter. That’s his daughter (holding Fritz) and his wife checking out the buoys and giving us a good comparison for how big those buoys really are. Unless you are right next to them, they don’t seem all that big floating in the water.

The next shot is of course Fritz the adventure dog, checking out the fishing boat that’s tied up there. I wonder if he’s thinking it might be nice to hop aboard a bigger boat like that, rather than the kayak or canoe he normally gets to ride in with the family.

Then the Dennis’ took a nice evening walk along the Lower Entry dock, with Fritz of course leading the way. If you listen closely you can hear Spring (the peepers are out!)
