While out walking her four-legged friends in Osceola Township, Deborah Goodell spotted something beautiful in the skies overhead, a Sundog. I did a quick Google search and found the following on Weather.gov: Sundogs are colored spots of light that develop due to the refraction of light through ice crystals. They are located approximately 22 degrees either left, right, or both, from the sun, depending on where the ice crystals are present. The colors usually go from red closest to the sun, out to blue on the outside of the sundog. Sundogs are also known as mock suns or parhelia, which means “with the sun”. A Sundog often means that rain is on the way, so it’s a bit of an ominous weather forecaster telling you to look out for foul or wet weather. No matter what it means, it sure is pretty!
Speaking of pretty, Steve Brimm has the perfect way to end a hectic week. Sit back and soothe all your worries and cares away with the sounds of the lapping of gentle waves.

Nice set…I’m amazed by how that tree is still standing with all of
the waves and ice that it gets pummeled with.
