“I’m sorry, but I can’t help myself! So much beauty! It’s breathtaking.” That’s how Kathy Erkkila Ptaszek prefaced her photos here today. And I’m sure I speak for most folks in saying there’s nothing to be sorry about, since the fall colors in the Keweenaw last for such a short time, you can never tire of seeing that glorious beauty.

The comments from some of Kathy’s friends sum up the appeal, the fascination, the attraction that fall UP North has for many people.

“It’s hard not to take pictures. The color is vibrant.”

Breathtakingly beautiful! I haven't seen a
lot of the deep reds like this. Awesome.

I mentioned my picture of Bond Falls that I
wanted to put in here. Well, it's the first
picture in the video. At least I think it is
because it goes fast. But it's before you
get down to the bigger falls. That's a visit
that never gets old. I loved the video.

I was wrong about the bond falls picture.
It's more around the 7 minute mark. Mary
was right. That was 16 and a half minutes
well spent. I'll be watching that again

The pics & videos are just the best, big thanks to
Mary for bringing them to us on a daily basis!

I guess it begs the question... If you can't find it

And Kathy's pictures are just amazing. Wouldn't you know this would be the year we couldn't travel. Maybe we say this every year but this looks to be the best yet!
