Fall is popping out around the Keweenaw. Depending where you are, the colors may not be quite peak, but predictions are that will happen sometime this week or early next week. Today’s photos were snapped by Brita Haapla just a few days ago, first at Lake Medora and the other two photos just past Medora on US41. I like how there was just a slight haze floating above the water on the lake giving it a look of mystery. And what about the hues along the highway. It looks like the colors have really taken off UP North in the Keweenaw. It always surprises me that all across the U.P. the colors are in different stages of beauty.
