Pleasant morning for a drive up to Copper Harbor, with a brief stop at the Mountain Lodge.

While the trees above are painted with red and gold, the moss still thinks it is summer.

It's sunny and cool across the U.P.  with pockets of color  finally appearing.

Today's topic: prints in the sand... an eagle, a moose, and an angel, from 3 guest camists.

Somehow these lights look just right framed above pine trees. The nightly show we enjoyed all summer continues into fall.
