Is it just me, or does it seem like there have been way more Northern Lights this summer than usual? I hope you’re not tired of seeing the photographs of them, because I am always fascinated with the Aurora Borealis and sharing the photos we find from photographers like Isaac Diener. (You can see more of Isaacs photography here: Isaac Diener Photography)
Isaac took these shots in Hancock Township, looks like the first two are from the Lily Pond, looking north. It always amazes me how many stars you can see in these photographs, too. And I can just picture the Aurora dancing across the sky with the vivid images Isaac captures. I’ve only seen them in person, once this year and they were not as bright as these, as it was the tail end of the show that night, so I’m thankful for folks like Isaac who take the time to photograph the lights and share them with us.
Today’s video is taking us to what this YouTuber (Issel_13) feels are the 10 Most Beautiful Places in the Upper Peninsula. I’m sure everyone has their own choices for this list, but these ten are some of the top picks.

Totally awesome pictures and video. I'm thinking our YouTuber likes the Munising, Grand Marais area. And who can blame him?

LOVE the Northern Lights. I remember one nite...decades ago, my nephew called me at 4am, and said "Don't holler, just go outside". So I did. RED northern lites right to the ground in Lake Linden. I danced in them!
