Debbie Jarve has captured some of the beauty that has been lighting up our Copper Country skies lately, starting with the sun peeking through the clouds, putting a glimmer on Lake Superior and her wavy waters. Then watching a storm rolling in over Houghton with some angry looking clouds. Debbie ended up this photography excursion with a stop at the Upper Entry of the Portage Canal to watch the sun going down and then a shot after it had gone below the horizon with the Lighthouse lit, too. Seems to me like the perfect way to end a day...peaceful and calm. Check out more of Debbie’s photography here: Debbie Jarve Photography
We’re going to TourDaYoop with Yooper Steve, who is taking us to Agate Falls, a Michigan Scenic Site in Trout Creek, off M28 and then to Jumbo Falls, near the village of Kenton in the Ottawa National Forest. Sit back and enjoy the tour.

Awesome! Love the sounds of the falls.

Gorgeous pictures.
I've been to Agate Falls but wasn't one
of the adventurous ones. I don't trust
my knee. But we did see the ones from
the overlook. Not as impressive as most
of the Falls around here, I don't think.
