What a great way to start your day, luckily you can view Frances Czapski’s beautiful sunrise photos from the comfort of your home, since she was out there on this chilly December morning to capture the changing colors in the morning sky for us all. She said it was a stunning sunrise on Lake Superior’s Whitefish Bay, with about 30 minutes of sunshine, before the day clouded over and snow flurries moved in. Interesting how it starts off with darker colors and then when the sun burst onto the scene everything turns golden. Since scenes like this can be fleeting, we have to stop and enjoy them while they’re there that moment. You can check out more of Frances’ photos at: Photography by Frances
Frances shares a video from a different day, with snow flurries and wind blowing the shores of Whitefish Point, giving Lake Superior a cold and wavy look that day. Looks like a bundle up, boots and warm mittens kind of day. Quite a contrast from the photos to the video, but all within range for December on the shores of the Big Lake.

Those photos are superb! What a thrill that
must have been for her. Thanks so much for
sharing those. And the Whitefish Point video
was wonderful also.
