Donna MacIntosh snapped a few photos around where she lives in Houghton. She starts off with a reflection of the leaves in the windows of a nearby building. Beautiful colors highlighted with the early morning sunshine.
The next two shots are morning scenes also. St. Ignatius Church steeple, shadowed with the rising sun behind it. Then the flag at half mast on top the Houghton County Courthouse, for General Colin Powell. The sun making the stars and stripes stand out even more brightly.
Check out the rainbow Donna captured. One shot of the double bow in the morning sky and a close-up of the rainbow with a crow perched in a nearby tree. Looks to me like Donna is appreciating the beauty around her and it’s great that we get to appreciate it right along with her.
In the Keweenaw shares some of the fall color near Copper Harbor with us today.

Thank you...my lil' crow buddy. I have a crow call and we chat on occasion. Or there's one or two up on the courthouse roof, where the flag is...I'm sure my neighbors think I'm nuts...but the birds look for me! I love it!

Great eye, Donna! The first one is my favorite, just because of the Autumn theme. Sounds like there will be a lot of white this week!
