Most of the time, when the forecast says “lake effect snow”, it seems like it is usually the fluffy, fast accumulating type of snow, rather than the heavy, wet stuff that’s so hard to move. Steve Brimm has been making his way around Copper Harbor in what he calls his “pajama sessions”, wandering around the Harbor in his pj’s capturing winter night scenes like the first one here today. I’m not positive, but I think the remaining three were snapped during the daytime and I have no clue if Steve was still in his pj’s or not. What I do know, though, is that these shots are quite peaceful and calming, pleasing to the eye and mind. Whether the wind was whistling in any of these shots, we can’t hear it, so the quiet of the insulating snow is what I am hearing.
Steve’s video takes us through a magical forest of snow covered trees on a mystical trail. It would be great to have this video loop, so it just keeps playing and we could keep making our way through those beautiful woods.
