After a recent rainstorm, the sky over the entire Copper Country held rainbows all around the area. Our first one was captured by Todd Blom, (the other half of Taana) who lives across from White City on the Lower Entry to the Portage Canal. So beautiful to have the colors spread out from one end to the other. So here’s my question...When both ends of the rainbow are visible, at which end do you find the Pot of Gold?
The next two rainbow photos were taken by Nicky Outinen on M-26 between Dollar Bay and Mason. You can see the road is wet still from the rain and oh boy, the color of that rainbow is quite vivid, especially in the second shot. Absolutely beautiful!
Today’s video is a treat from Fred Koski over at Fred Koski Photography. He recorded a Lake Superior Timelapse video and set it to a Coldplay song. Enjoy!

Beautiful time lapse video.
Great double rainbow in the first picture but the other 2 pictures also show a double. Even the third one has a hint of double color.
Mary, I think the same rules apply as in splitting a pair in Blackjack. You get to play both hands (or ends).

Pot-of-gold pix and a Weather Channel quality video...nicely done.

I just realized the 3rd picture is a digital zoom crop of the 2nd.

Yes, dare I say 'God's Country'? Yes, I dare. In the face of all the crazy going on this summer, this place more than ever seems like a little piece of normalcy/Heaven. Just spewing some gratitude here, I guess.

Yes David. This summer has made me think a lot more seriously about retiring UP there.
