Last week, Laurie Bashaw and her hubby did some waterfall exploring around the Munising area. They started out at Wagner Falls, which was still flowing nicely with snow cover along the edges. The second photo is the trail in to the falls, which looks pretty well traveled with snowshoes packing down the snow. Laurie said they didn’t need snowshoes and were able to walk on the path in.
Their next stop was the Munising Falls... the third photo is a beauty from there and then of course the fourth photo of the frozen falls. Laurie said you could hear water still flowing behind the ice, that must have been cool to hear (pun intended).
While Laurie was busy snapping shots of the falls, her hubby, Edward Korpi was making videos. The one he shared is from the Wagner Falls. Make sure you turn your volume up to hear the rushing water, too.

Soothing sound! I have a white noise CD that I listen to at night when the dogs of doom howl and moan and it sounds just like that waterfall.
