Here we are again, at the end of another month with our long-standing tradition here on the Pasty Cam, of setting aside this day to remember those that have gone on before us. Today we recall:

I'd like to remember Jochem Foppen and Hendrik-Jan de Vries, a
couple of acquaintances of mine, who were lost at sea on Thursday
when their commercial fishing boat sank in a storm on the North Sea
off the coast of the Netherlands.

In memory of Barbara Hosking, who died Dec. 1, 1958 in the Our
Lady of the Angels School fire in Chicago. She was originally from
Norway, Michigan.

Went out and found the story about your two friends. What a terrible situation for them and the rescuers. May God comfort their friends and families.

Remembering our parents Norman and Helen Pooley, Ed and Sophie Kuusisto, Aunt Lyle Pooley, our sister in law and dear friend Phyllis Kuusisto, Karen Kuusisto, Janet Trasti, Selma Kuusisto, Auntie Eva Lahti, our good buddy Nitz Kumpula, our nephews “The Chief” Churchill and Charlie Churchill, our sweet niece Rosie Churchill, Our niece Bailey Hartmann, our brother in law and friend Wayne Hartmann our sister and best friend Flo Hartmann and our dear sweet baby girls Annie and Molly Kuusisto. We love and miss you all so much.

I would like to remember Eugene (Zube) Zuverink
who passed away in November of 2013. I met him
here on pasty, and we had some political
differences back when we had the political
page. From then we started e-mailing each
other and became good friends. I also became
good friends with his wife, Pat. They were two
such wonderful people who would never have come
into my life if it weren't for the pasty page.
I had been missing my dad and he reminded me so
much of him. Anyway, I still think of him all
the time. He loved pasty.com.

Also, condolences to anybody who has lost a
loved one in November. It's never a good time,
but the holidays make it seem all the more
difficult.
