We welcome a new Pasty Camist photographer today, Greg Beaudoin, who attends Michigan Tech University. His Dad, Chris Beaudoin, has been a longtime Pasty Cam viewer and photo contributor and finally convinced Greg to send in these photos of the Boston Pond area that is located west of US41 or the upper highway to the longtime locals. The marsh pictured in the first photo, is north of the pond. The snowmobile/four wheel trail goes right by this area and groups often stop here for a break and if they’re lucky, they get to observe the wildlife.
We get a look at late fall today, with a video from In The Keweenaw. The leaves were mostly gone, but some color could still be found around the Houghton-Hancock area.

Welcome, Greg. My kids loved going fishing with my dad at the Boston pond when they were little.
Nice work, Greg! Great to see your images here for all to enjoy! --Dad

Nice pix and a well presented video that for me, was like saying "Goodnight" to the end of another season.
