When Beth Jukuri is delivering the mail on her Chassell to Tapiola route, she has the best views out her “office” windows. She gets to see the seasons changing and is always ready with her camera to take photos as it changes. These horses in their pasture don’t seem to notice anything different with the leaves beginning to change, all they’re worried about is getting enough grass or hay to fill their bellies. But whether they notice or not, the leaves, they are a’changing. Check out the cow in Beth’s last photo...that expression on its face is quite interesting. Maybe that cow is thinking, “I hope she’s getting my best side” or “she better not be delivering bills in my mail”. What’s your guess about the thoughts of this good looking cow?
The cows in today’s video are from the eastern end of the UP, west of Dafter, MI. They’re being turned to fresh pasture that’s filled with timothy, birdsfoot trefoil and clover. Somewhat of a dining delight for cows.
