Anyone who loves watching freighters sailing by, would be in their glory living near the Marquette Harbor LS&I Ore Dock, seeing them coming and going just about daily. Danielle Adams doesn’t live too far from the dock and always makes her way there whenever possible to snap photos like today’s shots of the Michipicoten coming into the harbor and docking. Calm waters like that must make for a much smoother docking experience. I can’t imagine piloting a boat that size up to a dock.
Today’s video of the Michipicoten was published a year ago, by Planes Trains Boats Online as it sailed by on the Great Lakes. You get a pretty good look at her on this one.

We were in Marquette last September and went
down to see the ships. It's one of my favorite
things to do. We usually do it in Duluth so it
was exciting to do it I Marquette. We've seen
the Michipicoten numerous times but it never
gets old. Thanks for sharing.
