Jeff Dennis and family went out from their Little Traverse cottage, for a canoe excursion along the Lake Superior shoreline. He said they were hoping to spot eagles and waterfalls. They were not disappointed, as you can see. The sandstone along the cliff there is impressive by itself, but throw in a waterfall and it’s a WOW! Then check out the eagle in flight photo, it’s definitely a beauty. The Big Lake was calm on this shoreline on Saturday, despite the winds that had been whipping for several days. It was a different story on the opposite Lake Superior shoreline, though.

Special treat today, Jeff is taking all of us along with the family in the canoe. Don’t forget your lifejacket!
