Last week we had a look at the CLK Track still piled high with snow. This week, Dorothy Jamison takes us to Lake Linden-Hubbell Schools Track, where it was being snowblowed with the hopes that the track will be melted by next week when school resumes after spring break. The LLHS track teams have been practicing running on the street and doing the hurdles and other field events in the gym. They’re anxious to get out on the track again.
Speaking of running... Jean Dessellier was up in Eagle River on Monday and found the Falls there roaring away. Now that’s a sure sign that spring can’t be too far off here in the Keweenaw.
