Spring is here, at least that’s what my 2019 Pasty.com Calendar indicated just a few days ago. But looking at today’s photos snapped by George C. Bailey just a couple days ago, it sure doesn’t look like Spring on the Keweenaw shores of Lake Superior quite yet. Although, with the ice chunking up like shown, that does mean things are beginning to move and with sunshine and warmer temperatures, before you know it, the Big Lake will be open once again.

Today’s video was made on the shores of Lake Superior in the Copper Harbor area. It comes to us from the Facebook page, Trail Genius. Enjoy a quick ride along the shores of Gitche Gumee.

It was on the news today that Lake Superior will be at Highest level ever this Spring and Summer..... could that be true?
